Felicity Spear Paris par chance (detail)
(Pin-hole photograph)
Mapping the environs of the Cité des Arts with pin-hole photographs. These photographs require long exposures that transcend the limitations of the moment and deal with chance. They often have an other-worldly sense. They seem voyeuristic, somewhat like the ‘flaneur’ navigating a path aimlessly through the streets of early twentieth-century Paris.
